We accept most gently used or new household and pet items as donations. Donations are accepted on Mondays between the hours of 10 AM - 1 PM or by appointment by contacting the shop manager, Angela Lemere at thriftshop@safehaven4animals.org. We do not accept books, VHS tapes, TVs, other electronics or bikes. We accept holiday items provided the holiday is no more than 2 months away. We have limited storage space. We accept a limited amount of gently used or new clothing. Clothing we do not have room for is put in a clothing bin in our parking lot and is donated to victims of domestic violence. Please being your donated clothing in the shop when we are open and we will sort through it first. |

We do not sell kids clothing in the shop unless it is brand new. However, it can be put in our clothing bin in the driveway. We do receive money for the clothing in the bin. We can provide you with a form for your donation for your tax purposes. Please call to find out if we can accept what you would like to donate. PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE DONATED ITEMS OUTSIDE OF OUR BUILDING WHEN WE ARE CLOSED. THEY WILL GET RUINED!

Hours: Saturday 10am-5pm
Those in need may visit our Pet Food Pantry monthly to receive a one week supply of pet food. There is an income requirement and proof of income is required yearly. We rely on donations, therefore, quantities are limited. Pet food donatiions are always appreciated. If your organization is interested in holding a pet food drive for us, please contact Jerry Lemere, Pet Food Pantry Manager - jlemerejr@aol.com, or leave a message at 845-392-5300. Pet food can ONLY be given out on Saturdays when our pet food pantry is open. Thrift shop volunteers cannot give out pet food on other days. Please call to make sure we are open. We are a 100% volunteer organization. If we do not have volunteers, we do not open. If we are closed, please come back the following Saturday.

You can purchase our t-shirts below or in our shop. Our t-shirts have our logo on the left front side. On the back is a larger version of our logo, our website and our slogan ("Rescuing one animal will not change the world ... but for that animal the world will be forever changed."). Our t-shirts come in 4 colors, blue, navy, maroon and pink and in 6 sizes. Small, medium, large, x-large, xx-large and medium kids size. Kid size through adult sizes small through xx-large are $15. Kid medium only in light blue only. |
